Blessings Couture

I really enjoying cute girly things (as you may have noticed) so I have decided to try my hand at making custom girly outfits. My business name is Blessings Couture and I hope to have my website up and running soon. I made a few samples and gathered all of the cute girly girls I knew to model them and here is what we got... Kate is in the "Wild Child" outfit (very fitting for her)!
Sweet little Calista is in the "Miss Sophisticated" outfit!

Brynlee is in the "Rock Star Tutu" outfit!

Haley is in the "I Love Candy Canes" outfit!

Post Halloween Party

JB and I got to go to a little post Halloween party at my best friend Jessica's house. There aren't many options for costumes when you are pregnant so clearly I went the safe route and dressed up as a cat. JB is supposed to be a mountain man but I think he looks more like a Russian! I think our costumes highlight how drastically opposite we are are in real life! But, we wouldn't have it any other way. I think 2 of me in 1 relationship might be a little stressful!

FUN TIMES!!!

Halloween 2008

We had a very busy Halloween week this year! We did Halloween at Grandma's house a few days early, Kate had a party at school and then we did a big trunk- or- treat with our church at Bass Pro. We had so much fun and Kate definately got a lot of wear out of her costume! As you can tell she was a very precious little Snow White. Kate with Bailey and TJ

Kate= Snow White! She was very concerned with her candy!

Pumpkin Carving with Bailey and TJ

Last Sunday we carved pumpkins with Bailey and TJ. The kiddos were only interested in the final product. They did not want anything to do with the carving or gutting. Kate said it was "EWW ! Grose!"

Nana's Birthday Dinner

We went to Nana's birthday dinner on Saturday. This is Kate Grace running circles around Aunt Kelly!

The new puppy was trying to take her Kiki (Blanket) and she wasn't giving it up without a fight!

Ready to cut the cake!

Kate and cousin Kristin

She even got to open gifts with Nana. She is learning the concept that everything is not her's. She handled it well though.

McCoy Family Reunion

Kate climbing the fence as usual!

On her way up to see the horsey!

The horse actually came to her when she called it.

Kate and Mommy Counting

See the suckers really do work! We got 2 videos out of her in one day! We discovered that she could count like this by accident. We were actually counting to 3 because she wasn't behaving and when JB said 1 she finished counting to 3 for him. She is a firm believer in pushing her limits! Anyhow, now we count like this all of the time. She can even do it with up to 4 people taking turns and keep up! She can count to 15.

Kate singing the ABC's

Here is a video of Kate singing her ABC's! Please excuse her for not sitting like a little lady ;). I have been trying to get this on video for months but she won't ever let me do it. She finally discoverd Dum- Dum suckers and now we bribe her with them. We have NO shame!

We found a Monkey at the park

Kate has always been a climber so we call her a little monkey! When you hold her she even holds on to you with her feet and toes. On Sunday we went to the park after church to play before her Sunday nap and she climbed everything she could find! Don't worry grandma's I was right there the whole time and she didn't fall once :).

HMMM, I don't know about this one.

Up and away with no problem!

This one is kind of hard but I CAN do it!

She's not resting from the climb just holding on for dear life with her face!

Cookies for Daddy Cont.

I'm just watching my cookies bake in the oven!

YUMMY! I think they each ate 6 cookies! These are my 2 favorite JUNK FOOD JUNKIES!

Cookies For Daddy

My Mommy is not a baker so she just used the pack where you add water and butter!

UMMM! I see chocolate chips!

MIX MIX MIX!

LOOKS YUCK BUT TASTES GREAT!

Time to turn on the oven!

Dress Up

We just had to share this pic bc it makes us laugh so much! This is Kate Grace playing dress up for tea time. Notice the cream and sugar bowls are on her hands :). She is also wearing her sunglasses upside down- she knows they are upside down but that is how she insists on wearing them all of the time! Who needs a dress when you can have so much fun with the accessories!

Playtime at the Park

After the hurricane blew through we had a few days of nice cool weather so one day we went to the park here in town for some much needed playtime.

The slide is her favorite thing! She kept going down it over and over again!

Kate is a very independent child and she insists on doing EVERYTHING on her own. He favorite phrase is "I do it!"

I was hovering a bit bc I was afraid she was going to fall and then she told me to "go away". I am pretty sure I won't be getting a hug and kiss on the 1st day of Kindergarten. She is MISS INDEPENDENT!!! When I was pregnant with Kate I prayed for a strong, independent child with no fears. I got what I prayed for- LITERALLY!

Here is Kate with the silly cow. These cows make us laugh bc they look like they belong in a children's park but they are actually at an entrance to a sub division that is going to have million dollar houses! I guess you need something to attract the kiddos!

School Days

Here is Kate Grace on her 1st day of school! She is such a big girl now! No more cribs and she gets to carry her own backpack. She even has a folder where she gets stickers for being good. She's 2 so we really hope that she comes home with a sticker EVERYDAY. There are only 2 girls in her class and the rest are boys. I guess she will be well prepared for her little brother!

Here is Kate on swim day. She was very excited to go! I think she misses our swimming pool. The first week of school her teachers said they couldn't believe how compliant she was (we would not know anything about this bc she is NOT compliant at home) and we had to giggle a bit. Then, the other night we went to open house and they said she loves to be loud- now that is the Kate we know!

Kate and Hailey's Game

Kate and Hailey were full of cheerios after the wedding! They decided to play a game and see how many times they could hug each other and then fall down. If these two ever have a slumber party I am NOT attending and God Bless the poor soul who hosts it!

Wedding Bloopers

Here are just a few fun pics of everyone at the wedding. We had some silly times! Kate was not the flower girl but she sure did love the basket! Hailey and Kate also had fun attacking each other with the flowers (silly girls)! I love the one of Hailey and Kate's screaming match (they weren't mad just thought it was fun!) and the one of Kate making her "Asian" eyes with Krystal. Oh and look- my Dad actually cleans!

Aunt Debbie's Wedding

Aunt Debbie's wedding was BEAUTIFUL! Everything turned out perfect and we had some fun family time putting it all together. Debbie looked amazing! The colors were so warm that I just had to capture them with the color detail on my camera. Congrats to the bride and groom on their big day!
