Western Day

In Kate's words, "I'm a cowgirl baby!" She also kept calling herself a "honky" which she didn't really mean. We have a book called Clonkey Bonkey Donkey and somehow she turned it into, "I'm a honky." This was sooooo much fun! Today Kate had western day at school. They got to have a cookout and make stick horses. She got to bring the chips to the cookout and she was very excited bc chips are her favorite food. She also got to eat a hotdog which she told me all about. We don't eat hotdogs at my house bc I have an aversion to the sight, smell and ingredients (I know it is an American staple but I really can't stand them). I am glad she enjoyed the hotdog at school :)! These pics are for Kate's Grandaddy :). I told my Dad she had western day and he decided to go all out! He and Ms. Laura took Kate shopping and picked out all of her cowgirl duds. The boots even light up when she walks. Where were these cute boots when I was a kid??? I didn't get a pic of it but the skirt has an adorable big white bow on the back of it too. The best part is my Dad actually researched online and knew exactly what he was going to buy her before we even walked into the store! Thanks Dad!!!
