Paid In Full

I am ecstatic overjoyed flippin out speechless.  I really and truly don't even know how to express my gratitude to everyone who donated for my trip.  Every, single, last penny has been paid!!!  God is sooooo GOOD!  I had to raise $3200!  Seriously folks, $3200 (that's 2 zeros)!  That is a whole lotta dinero.  I have to say this because I think it is pretty amazing and I know God has a hand in everything big or small...I even had people who were non-believers donate.  I told myself when I committed to this trip that every step of this journey I would do whatever God guided me to do and leave the results up to him.  If there were no fruits because of my labor then I would know that the "doing" part was about obedience and not the fruit.  I struggle with obedience and patience a lot.  I am a do-it-yourself kinda gal.  Why wait for someone else (even God) when I can do it myself, right?....wrong!   I have gotten myself into some sticky situations trying to do-it-all on my own.  If God doesn't have a hand in it...it's cuz he don't wantcha doin it. Amen!  I have learned so much patience and have had to let go of so much control to let God provide for my trip.  "Let go and let GOD."  Seriously folks...it's sooooo worth it!  Everything in HIS perfect timing...even when it is the very last second.  God has tested me so much through this process and I am grateful because it has strengthened my faith and shown me that I don't have to do it all on my own.

Philippians 4:19
And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Matthew 6:31-32
Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

I am in the home stretch now gathering the rest of my supplies, keeping my kids up past bed time, packing, taking my Malaria medicine (that ain't been so friendly to my tummy thus far), and all while my husband is still. out. of. town.  No worries he is coming home today and we will get some family time in before I leave TOMORROW. I feel that God had a plan even in that situation...I will explain more tomorrow!!!

One last thing...Please continue to pray for my family and I in the coming days and weeks.  I am getting on an airplane tomorrow and did I mention that I. HATE. FLYING???  Just in case I didn't I should let you know that I. HATE. FLYING!!!  Pray that all of the medicine works (yes, I have to be medicated and I don't care if that means I am weak or if you don't believe in all that) and that I don't try to jump off the airplane.  Pray for the Lord's protection in all of our paths, pray that he has his hand's (wow! say that one really fast) on everything we do and that everything we do is for HIS glory and not our own.

I am singing in my head right now...Jesus paid it all, all to him I owe...you church goin folks know the rest :)
